StoryTime ~ Lets Make a Deal

Look at my fluffy baby's leg!! It's so fat!!  
My new Corgi baby is so cute too!!

"Aren't you a little far from home, tiny dog?"

??? jumped at the stranger's voice. He trembled as he watched a sleek gray cat jump down from a tree.

???: "G-get away! It's to dangerous to-"
The gray cat chuckled and sauntered over. ???'s eye brightened and flashed. He backed away slowly, trying his best to look threatening.
??? snarled, "I'm warning you. Stay back!"

The cat stopped, but he smiled when the small dog backed into a tree.
"Well, aren't you a fretful one. What's so dangerous that I can't greet you to our world?" The felin tilted his head.

???: "How-" 
"Did I know you aren't from this world? Easy. You smell like chemicals. Everyone in this world is too dumb to know what chemicals even are." The cat held out his paw, "I'm WildCard, by the way, and I'd like to help you out with this danger you seem so afraid of."

??? stared at Wildcard. He winced as another creak split on his mask.
"I-I'm 2-9-1."

"291? That's a strange name, and I've seen strange." Wildcard laughed, as if the remark was hilarious.

291 stumbled as another headache erupted in his skull. He opened his eyes and noticed how close the cat was to him.
"Please!" 291 yelped, "You have to get away!"

"Why?" Wildcard asked with a cheeky smile.

"Because as soon as the masked breaks, there won't be anything to stop the toxin from killing you and anyone within a ten mile radius!" 291 shivered, "Close me off in a cave or something. It worked last time. Just don't get too close!"

"Woah Woah, hold up. This happened before?" Wildcard shook his head, "Don't answer that."
A grin grew on his face. "It looks like it's your lucky day then. How would you like to be saved from this terrible curse?"

291 paused. "Y-you can help me?"

"Well of course I can!" The cat laughed, "I can fix anything! I'm a Demigod, you know. But enough about me! Would you like MY help? It will come with a price-"

"Yes!" 291 blurted, "I'll pay any price! Just please-"
He trembled as the headache pounded. He stared up at the cat with broken eyes.
"Just stop the pain."

In all his life, Wildcard had never been so taken back. He quickly covered his surprise and smirked.
"Your wish is my command. The price, I must warn, will have to be a life debt, seeing as I'll have to treat your... 'problem' constantly. You'll have to work for me, I'm afraid."

291 nodded, "I will."

Wildcard grinned. "So we have a deal, tiny dog?"

"Yes."

"That's what I was hoping for."

Still needing a name for the Corgi (Experiment 291 is just a temporary name)
